The Pirelli tyre company has just released the `Night Dragon' series of tyres for various Harley Davidson motorcycles. Interestingly, Pirrelli is now doing a front and rear tyre for current model FLSTF Fatboy's (from 2007 onwards). Has anyone fitted these tyres yet? If so, how do they compare with factory fitted Dunlops?

At last we have a choice of tyres (matching front and rear), as opposed to having a Metzler on the rear and a Dunlop up front.

I've got one on the rear. Only have about 800 miles on it, but so far so good. Seems a little grippier (is that a word?) than the Dunlop, hope it lasts as long. I got it because I read some write-ups on it that were positive and it was the same size as the original. Avon makes one in the original size also, but I didn't want to pay $300 for a tire. Got mine at motorcycle-superstore.com for $160.99 with free shipping.
