just have to ask
I have a 09 heritage, once i take the windshield it feels like a totally different smaller bike. Any one else get that feeling?

I think stripping down a Heritage is a really cool look. It's got that old skool Softail look.
I think the bike looks pretty slick without the windshield and the bags and on the other hand it looks perfectly natural decked out for the long haul.
I wish I had gone that route.

The shield attaches to the fork. It makes sense. Having a plastic wall on your forks catching all that wind must feel heavy on the bars.

At first the shield does make the bike feel smaller and closed in when riding it, then you get used to it and its like its not even their. Never really noticed if the bars felt heavier with it on. The bike feels a little slower when accelerating at higher speeds with it on though. Despite all this, the shield stays on now.
