Default stereo system and speakers

Looking to buy a stereo system and speakers for a 2006 Heritage Softail Classic anyone has any suggestion

well, I tried a few different things and was never satisfied. I was on a poker run and met a guy that had an aftermarket fairing on his fatboy. His stereo sounded awesome so I started researching. I ended up installing a Wide Open Custom Plastics fairing with a Sony Marine Stereo and Sony waterproof speakers and have been extremely pleased.

Thanks Keno any way you can post pics on how and where you installed the the speakers and radio.

Thanks for you help. The fairing doesn't look that bad on the Heritage.

Yeah I actually get tons of compliments. It's a quick on and off but I've found I rarely take it off I like it so much but it is good to have the choice..

Check with Ron. I've spoken to him a couple of time, and he's been really helpful. I haven't bought one yet, but this is the unit I'm leaning toward. It bolts right onto your windshield, and has a 4-flat quick release (similar to a trailer), so that you can quickly cut the power if you want to remove your windshield.
