It looks like it is a 2007 Softail Custom (Cheesecake is right).

Given this V.I.N. (1HD1JL5147Y031394) this is what it means (according to my 2008 HD Softail manual pp 2-4 to 2-5):

1: Market designation - Originally manufactured for sale within the United States

HD: Manufacturer - Harley Davidson

1: Motorcycle type - Heavyweight motorcycle (901 cc and larger)

JL: Model Codes - FXSTC Softail Custom

5: Engine type - Twin Cam 96B, 1584 cc air cooled, fuel injected, balanced

1: Introduction date - Introduced on regular date

4: V.I.N. Check digit - can be 0-9 or X

7: Model Year 7:2007

Y: Assembly Plant Y=York

31394: Sequential Number varies
