Unhappy Lock holder with engine guard?

Does anyone run an engine guard along with a lock holder? I have kept a lock holder on my 2000 Heritage since it was new. It comes in very handy for locking a helmet when stopped. I recently added the engine guard and put the lock holder back on using the extension Harley used to sell, it has been discontinued now. While riding, I bottomed out on a bad bridge transition and the lock punched a dent in my fender. I plan on replacing my fork oil to see if I can stiffen the front, but I was wondering if anyone else is running this setup successfully. It looks like there should be plenty of clearance.

I knew there was a reason I never put one of those on my Heritage.
