Ok I have a 1988 Soft tail with a S&S 96 and a Ultima 6 speed. Right before the Baker 5 speed tranny went out I noticed a bad VIBRATION under and or behind the seat around 3500 RPM's. I figured since the tranny was going bad it was part of the vibration since it is under the seat.... so I buy a Ultima 6 speed tranny and I love the way it shifts and rides but the same exact thing.... around 3500 RPM is vibrates just as bad.... this problem only started about a month ago and I am CLUELESS!!!! My brother thinks a weight but if a tire lost a weight it would vibrate at a speed not an RPM... or from what I believe.... so I am open to any and all suggestions... I like going fast and this is pissing me off!!!!
