The only problem I have is that it is way to easy to speed....
No seriously I have not experienced anything wrong so far...been riding my 08 for almost two years now and with the regular maintenance nothing has gone or felt wrong....yet....

We have two 08s in the family and no real problems with either. I used to have a problem finding neutral till I switched to 75-140 synthetic tranny lube. Wife never had an issue with neutral on her Deluxe so maybe my primary was overfilled at the factory.

And I also have the dreaded 5th gear rattle. Was very annoying at first but I'm used to it now. Don't really hear it unless I go into 5th at <55mph. So riding at 50 mph is a PITA because neither 4th or 5th seems like the right gear to be in. Wife's Deluxe has the rattle or "wop wop" sound to a far lesser degree and can barely notice it. She actually likes it because it lets her know she's
in 5th gear.

As far as 6th goes, only time I use it is when I'm doing 65+ on a long stretch of road.

'08 Heritage ... no problems at all. Never had a problem finding neutral and no fifth gear noise. It goes thru the gears very smoothly and I use the Harley synthetic. (I was going to switch to Amsoil but why fix something that's not broke?)

I use Bel Ray for the trans and no wine or clank and I can find neutral. I use Motor Factory® Primary Case Lube in the primary. because Amsoil has gone up so much I just switched to Mobil 1 for vtwin and it works as good. I have 39,000 miles in about 2 years and it runs great and no debris in the oil changes.
