Default What Slip-ons are best?

I am looking at putting some slip-on mufflers on my 06 Heritage Softail, what ones would anybody recommend? Also along with them what did you have to do to the map sensor, and did you also change the air filter unit? Thank you all for your help!

I just replaced a set of SE II's with Khrome Werks 3" HP+. Deeper sounding yet not loud, show quality chrome and tight clamping. They have a cool muffler/baffle design. Nice stuff.

I had the dealer installed CYCLE SHACK before I left with my bike~~~~~AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
These pipes ROCK!!! They sound so much louder than my roommates Screamin' Eagle slip-ons...and you can get them on Ebay for $120..or find some used for even cheaper!!!

Cjmilez,

When you put these on did they remap your bike also? Also did you change the a/c? Thanks for the info!

No, they didn't remap my bike. I just had the slip-ons put on...they said if I just had the slip-ons put on I wouldn't need to do anything. NOW, if I decide to modify the airkit and I will (Arlen Ness Big Sucker~~>better than Screamin'Eagle) then I will either go with the power commander or race tuner to remap. I'm just not ready to fork over that money yet after purchasing the bike....lol. But when I do, I'll go on Ebay..they are much cheaper, and buy them.
But for getting the slip-ons, you can just get those or add the air kit and remap too....just your preference. I figured, get the noise I want...then I can always add later!
