I just bought an 07 heritage and I am looking to change the mufflers to get a better sound and a little more noise. Which one do you guy's think sound better? My local dealer is pushing the Rush pipes.
I just put on the Rush slip ons with the 1.75" Baffle. I ride a touring bike so I didn't want anything that would negate the radio so they are perfect for me. The have a very deep idle and a deep rumble on heavy accell but quite down nicely in OD at 65MPH. It's hard to descibe sound but they sound deep but tight if that makes any sense. The SE's I've heard seem to be a little more tinny on the Ultra's but my sound different on the softail. Just my two cents. I would suggest hanging out at your dealer on a busy weekend and listening to what rolls in. If they push the Rush mufflers chances are someone will show up with a set for you to hear. You can bet your next paycheck that more than one set of SE pipes will show up.

Rush has a good rep. The actual screaming eagles are discontinued. The new version is COMPLETELY street legal with more sound. What does that tell you about performance. If you can get the REAL screaming eagles that are not made any more I'd go with that otherwise more performance potential from Rush.

I put the '07 Screamin Eagle slip ons on my '07 Heritage because that was all that was availble. They sound much better than stock, but I would have liked to heard the Rush first if they had been available.
