I always wanted a Supertrapp on my dirt bikes when I was a kid but couldn't afford the upgrade. I like it. No dyno, but they are great for torque. Between changing discs and the TTS I could drive myself crazy adjusting it. These are not loud at idle but several people I've ridden with say it sounds awesome when I open it up.
i have D&D fatcat's in black, but you have the perfect opportunity to just upgrade your thunderheader to a black one. the thunderheader produces more power than any other pipe. i love my pipe except the baffle is too quiet for me. performance wise, the fatcat is better than any other pipe except the thunderheader
Check out RB Racing LSR 2-1. That's what I'm going for on my XBones. The ones with the 45 degree turn out. Good sound, great performance, and all black, including heat shields. They take about 4-6 weeks to get because they are built to order. I don't have them yet so can't post pic, but if you go to their web site you'll see a ton of softails with them on. Good luck.
