Simple. Upgrade to the chrome fatboy wheels. These are easy to keep clean.

I use noxin#7 metal polish, rub in and buff with a piece of brown craft paper (grocery bag) and then a terry cloth towel.

Once in a blue moon I use a mothers powerball to really kick up the shine.
