Default Saddlebags...

I've seen some discussions on Saddlebags for the Deluxe, thought I'd add my 2 cents. I just added bags from Custom Creation Saddlebags, ccsaddlebags.com. They ship with an easy-bracket system, much like Ghost Brackets. Quality of the hardware was excellent. Quality of the bags was very very good. Heavy leather, and HUGE!!!! Makes the company Deluxe bags look like ladies evening hand bags.

Here's the best part. Around $560 including the bracket! I'll post pics of mine as soon as I can, prolly Sunday.

Note: These will only work if you ditch the stock shotgun for a lower set up, like the V&H's or a dual.

Gregor,
Let me know which ones you purchased. What size? Can't wait to see some pics. Still looking for bags for my Deluxe. Ordered a sissybar and tool bag from Rockinleather.com and I'll let you know the quality from there.

I got the 20"ers. Was going to order the 18, but the guy sent me an email back with pics of his Deluxe with the 20 inch ones to show me how well they fit. http://www.ccsaddlebags.com/mb1400bconch.htm is the model I got. Really top notch quality for the price imho.

Pics of the new bags. Side, back, and removed.

Love how the stiching mimics the seat.

Notice the weather cover on the lock.

Removed. Nice and clean. All in all I love these bags.

Thanks for the info, I'm looking as well and the bags that the factory offers for the deluxe don't do it for me. I'll check out the website...

How does that work with the detachable sissy bar? Longer bolts?

Does anyone know of waterproof, lockable, detachable, large saddlebags that can be used on a Night train? Waterproof and large are the two most important things for me.

Thanks.

Cheers!
