front forks bottom out on 04' FB

Try changing to a thicker oil and tightening up the steering head bearings.

tightened the bearings.....still bottoms out.....04' FB

If you are being serious... give a little more info like maybe has it always done it or have you made any recent changes or gained a ton of weight or something. If you are not being serious... see ya.

You are probably light on fork oil. Change it and add new oil at the amount specified in the service manual.

Fork oil mostly affects the rebound , bottoming is more affected by springs. Put a better replacement spring in or if the spring will allow it add a longer spacer to preload the springs. But be careful because this may decrease travel if the spring bottoms on it self.
