dogbone risers on Crossbones
Don't let the fact that the ones you like are only offered in chrome. There are a lot of powdercoaters around that will be glad to help you out. Ask around and you'll get directed to someone local that offers good quality at a fair price. I just had 8 parts done by a company in Little Rock, AR. for $25.00 with a 2 day turnaround. These were small parts mind you. But the guy back home wanted a lot more money. And wouldn't give me a time-frame. I had the frame to my windshield and front axel covers done. I was working in L.R. at the time. And a buddy I've built bikes with for 40 years turned me on to them. (Arkansas Painting & Specialties)

I know this is an old thread but I have just bought some chrome 6" Dogbone risers to go on my bones they are threaded to bolt straight into the springers I will post pictures once fitted with new bars which are off the new softail slim
No difference in the handling but comfort is a lot better than the standard bars on a long run the rubber seems to cut out a lot of the vibration as well
