Same tire, but not the same support. You'd probably notice it less in the rear.

I agree if the tire is not worn and the hole is in the middle plugs work. I have done it twice and no issues, no loss of air etc.....having said that it won;t stop you from getting nailed in another part of the tire which has happened to me once. If you can afford a new tire why not replace it but if you can't plugs work in the middle not the edge. IMHO.

The odds are stacked against us as it is without being wrapped up in a nice warm cage....why test the odds...

After 35 years of riding, I've heard nearly all of it ........and it all boils down to your statement Dan, that and your own personal decision.

ever help me make a decision as important as that, but like I said its your personal decision. Its just not worth the increased risk to me. I can make that decision all by myself.
