After riding my Sportster for over 2 years i finally decided it was time to upgrade to something a little bigger.
Started looking for a Dyna at first but then saw a very nice Fatboy i could afford but someone else beat me to it.
Decided to put a softail out of my mind and carry on searching for the Dyna but then something turned up that i could not resist.
Finally i bought this 2003 FXST in July although i've been unable to bring myself to sell my trusty old Sportster.
A fella could eat a sangwhich off any part of that fine machine....
You live in Europe?
What part?
Assuming you do live in Europe...Do used Harleys cost a guy a fortune in Europe comparitively to our American market or do you guys have a glut of fairly priced used scoots as well?
As everywhere Harleys hold there money really well,if you can stear clear of the dealers and know exactly what your looking for then you can save yourself a few quid.
Very rare that you can find a complete bargain though.

Ummmm not so much here anymore!! The **** poor economic conditions over here have made it a buyers market for sure.
Over here the bargains are shooting through the roof!
I like the way that UK-ish stuff sounds....Save yourself quite a few quid!!
I need to hop a plane over there someday and have me some fish and chips on the thames....Errrr Curry?
Thank you for the replies, just as friendly here as the Sportster section.
The bike trade is booming over here at the moment, new Harley's have gone up in price and this of course has followed on to the second hand market although saying that some people need a clip round the earhole for the prices they want for there second hand bikes.
I have the room in the garage to keep the Sporty so i'm in no rush to think about selling it even though i have a long list of people wanting it,even the guy i originally bought it off would like it back.
I could maybe squeeze another bike in the old garage and i'd like an old classic Triumph or BSA to mess about with and take to shows, maybe in a year or two - you got me thinking now - arrggghhh
