Oct1949, not sure I understand this. Can you explain?
Shakey
It means ride defensively, even if you have the right of way watch out for stupid cagers on cell phones ect. Just because you didn't do anything wrong doesn't mean they won't be scraping you off the pavement
I noticed that Hooker was shutting down their inventory of motorcycle parts and got my set of Trouble makers for 130$ straight from their warehouse. When I recieved them they were for a carbd bike so I had to cut and weld O2 bungs in. Price of welding and pipes, I think I came out ahead. They look just like the V&H, and sound just as good IMO. My buddy has VH on his Bob, very similar look but mine point straight at the pavement. I blow a strip of **** away (leaves, gravel, water etc) on the drive way, I like it!

^ agreed, Ive only found one other guy on the forum that has em, and have NEVER seen em on the road. Lots of VH, Python, etc, but no Hookers . . . . until you get to that side of town that is, and they typically scatter like **** roaches.
twisted12, thanks for the websight. those look great and I don't like having what everyone else has, thus my Deuce. I don't see where I can find my make and model and I'd not want to order them for a "softail" and they not fit. any advice? thanks to all for your advice it's good stuff man.
Yea man, that model selector is messed up, wants you to pick Ford and ****, went through that when I got mine. That link that I sent to you takes it straight to your motor and shows em on a deuce. I would call them to verify, they have great customer service. The only thing I would want to make sure of on your deuce is the mounting positions to the rear of the frame. There is a long flat washer that accepts two bolts/per pipe to secure em. Just let them know you motor and that its a deuce and they'll hook you up. Enjoy those Hookers man. - cant resist.
One last thing - Look at the part numbers below. When ordering mine I got the wrong set because the description was confusing to me. They stack their numbers by motor, not model year. Thats why I had to weld in O2 bungs for my EFI. You should be sure if you call them to ask whether or not they will have O2 bungs - carbd = no bungs - EFI = you want those bungs already on the pipes.
