Default Belt Rub

My primary belt is rubbing on my jack shaft it is wearing from the middle all the way over to the inside it is eating it away, I have adjusted belt tention but still rubbing is going on, Its not making no noise but the groves are about gone.is it to tight to loose need some advise.

My belt rubs on the starter jackshaft as well. It never did it until I lowered the rear 2 inches. Mine rubs the outside of the belt and it is slowly removing the grooves too.

Is your bike lowered?

If it is lowered, it's probably coming from that mod. It it's stock height, it may be an adjustment issue.

Mine rubbed on a trip once. Turned out to be the belt was too loose. I would double check your belt. These things are supposed to be pretty tight.

My bike was lowered ,But I raise it back up and thats when it started rubbing,I did tighten my belt up because I could twist almost 90 degrees, adjusted to a 45 degree twist, Can not tell if it is rubbing no more, But I think my belt got loose when I raise it back up.
