Default which would you get

I am pretty sure I know the answer but just wanted to run this by the gang.

2006 FLSTN 3500 miles $11500 with bike lift

2007 FLSTN 10,500 miles $12900

niether....plenty of 07' for that price with lower miles. I would go for the 96 cubic motor + 6-speed

But if i were to choose between the two? It would still be the 07' with the 6-speed and 96 cubic..

Would have to see the bikes though...post some pics.

What are you leaning towards?

If I had to choose between the 2 I would get the 06. But I think I would look around.

06 Deluxe. I have 3 06's a FXST, FLST and FLHX. I love the last year of the 88. I figure if they hadn't got it right by then they wern't going to. It also was the year before the 02 sensors went in. I have had no issues with any of the bikes. Just my 2 cents.

Probably...lol I will try and post some pics

I was leaning towards the 07 one because of the 96 the other is the hydro cam tensioner(maybe not that important though)

Although the extra 1k would pay for big radius pipes windshield and bars.

What is the ballpark for a 06 or 07 I know it depends on aftermarket stuff but in general either stock or just pipes?

Thanks, you guys give great info thats why i ask questions here

And btw if you know of any good deals let me know. I have been looking hard and cant seem to find one.

I know I'll take a flaming for this but the 07 is one of the years that seems to have a few little issues comparitively.....Noisey gears, Runs hot, etc,etc...
Dont get me wrong as I would happily rock that 07'...
