I picked up an 05 Heritage with 2200+ miles on it and WOW what a differance between the 97 and the 05 as there is way less vibration and an awesome ride for sure.
I am glad i stuck with the Heritage :-)

Excellent Choice
I love my 05 Heritage too. I have about 19K on it now and am just noticing a minor bit of vibration, but I haven't pinpointed the problem. Thought it might be wheel balancing but I can feel it pulling away from a stop. Hoping to find some insite in the forums.
