Default On exhaust systems...

What will give the most performance, slip ons or complete exhaust systems? Screaming Eagle or Vance & Hines? Any other exhaust system maker I should be aware of? I'm new to softail world

best performance will be exhaust system, fuel management and a high flow filter...Stage 1

if you are looking for a little bit more performance and sound (plus alot of savings) go for slip ons only

PS..I am adding Vance and Hine Slip Ons next week..I will post a video of the bike running with the stock pipes and then with the V & H

2 into 1 better power other exhaust gives classic harley sound. Slip ons were nice for my first upgrade but I went to 2 into 1 fat cat d & d exhaust and feel the difference

U just cant beat a 2-1 system for area under the curve..
Heres a good lesson on muffler systems, long but really good from revolution performance.

I have proven the slip-ons vs 2 into 1 thing on the dyno with my bike.
While the Rush slip-ons sounded better, the Fatcat gave more power across the whole band. They even sound good after getting used to them, but many do not like the 2 into 1 sound. slightly less "deep" and a lil more "racey".

If you choose to go with slip-ons, the Rush are one of the better choices out there (performance, sound and looks).

My next pipe will be Supertrap. A bit quieter than the BSS and more torque in usable rpms. Just a good match for my 107 future build.

Rush slip-ons are just "ok" in my book.

Replaced the ones I had with Khrome Werks HP+ slip-ons. More power (dyno proven), better sound and excellent chrome finish.

For pure performance I'd say go with a D&D 2-1.
