Hello guys and gals:

I have at the moment 3 Heritage springers.
Finding the 2001 issue 30's retro red and white paint set was a dead end chalange for the springer but I did find one for a Hyd. front end Heritage.

My plans are to get another front and rear fender and have them painted to match.

Question, how rare are these piant sets in softails other than Springer?

Anyone here have one or seen one.

 

Here is a photo of the paint set in the springer varaition.

It was made in 2002 in red and black and 2003 in green and black.

I have a paint set for a Heritage with a regular front end but I have never seen one on a bike.

 

Well, never have seen that one before. m It sure is beautiful. I'd say it's pretty rare.

 

A friend bought a set for his wife's Heritage from the HD dealer south of Detroit ( I think now it's Bob's HD) I think it was Motown HD. They had several tin sets on the wall that were originaly about $4000-$5000, I think he got them for $1000+/- for the 3 pc. set. They look great on the Heritage. We have seen a few sets on the road.

 

I bought the white/blue one new in '97. Saw these two at bike night at the HD Museum last July.

 

I know those bikes.

Alligator Bob did all the leather work on the White/Red one
