hey thanks all,i'm very happy with my purchase and couldnt see myself on another bike.I want to go with the old school meets cholo look.im starting off with V&H true duels and 17" apes.something somewhat like this picture but with my own style.and of course on a deluxe not a fat boy
Hey, V&H don't make a cholo pipe..check out Samson(those are the ones in your sample pic). And bars(apes) usually run in even numbers like 14",16",18",20" check out chubbywild1,carlini,BurlyBrand and several others. 17" are a odd size but can be found. I do believe carlini does have a new 17" ape. Good Luck and don't forget to post those pics..

Good luck. I had a Lepera bare bones solo on mine for years but recently switched to a Mustang vintage solo. The Barebones looked cool but the Mustang is way more comfortable.
Congrats on a great choice! I personally love my basket, but I quickly changed out the brick passenger pillion for an HD upgrade. The OL is a lot happier.
Pirate,
Welcome to the HD family, especially the Deluxe side of the family. The Deluxe is a great platrform that offers a lot of versatility. They look great coming off of the showroom and then you can turn them into masterpieces much like those of OS_Deluxe, BlkandChrome and Aggro_Jo (just to name a few). And by the way...don't get frustrated when you find the words "Not for FLSTN" next to many of the things that may catch your eye. While it is a great platform, it is somewhat of a unique platform and isn't compatible with all accessories. Have fun and stay safe!
I like to use my stock seat for longer rides. I added a Springer seat rail to change the look a little. My everyday seat is a LePera Bare Bones. Enjoy your new bike. Keep us all posted on your updates.
