Will the pillow seat on a 2008 softtail (fxstc) fit a 2006 softtail standard.

 

No, i looked into that for my 03 and my understanding is they changed the frame in the tail of the bike in 07 to accomodate the wider rear tire changing how the seat lays as well.

 

ambrose...i'm betting yes it will. 06 std has the wide tire. I just put an 07 custom seat on my 06 standard. Made for it. Good luck!!

 

I'll try to find some reference from different companys to compare..

 

The '06 FX Softail (FXSTB, FXST, FXSTC) has the 200mm rear tire, so I would say yes.

Yes it will fit, however you will also need the stock HD sissy bar or one that you can modify for it because the seat mounting bolts attach to it and not the fender like all the other seats.
