hello all. haven't yet done much to mod my rocker-c, other than putting on some v&h side shots.
been thinking about some performance enhancement and new handlebars, but interested in feedback from some more experienced hd owners.
first, looking at screaming eagle stage IV kit. i live in brooklyn with no access to tools, so would want local hd dealership to install for me. i know it will set me back (was told almost $5k all in), but want to have scary low/mid-range power. anyone been through this? was advised that i might consider SE255 cam instead of the SE260 that normally comes with the kit. i think thought was that the 260 will run really hot and may be more than a rider like me would need. i'm not going to be out drag racing anyone.
second, I love the look of the ape-hanger bars, but worried about handling. launching out of brooklyn, i hit some nasty bumps and potholes. i don't want to give up control/handling for looks. for those of you with ape hangers, do you feel you've sacrificed anything?
