Default Deuce lower fork sliders on 06 softail standard

i just snagged me a set of duece lower fork sliders for my 06 softail standard, and was just wandering if anyone else has done this?

alot of guys use these on there CFL builds

just curious if i need a duece axle ($90 from HD), i know i'll need a deuce front fender and fender bracket, just not sure if my stock axle will work with the deuce lowers or not

thanks
