Apes, How to measure?
I am looking at increasing my apes an inch or two. They came with what I think are mini's and about 10" tall, but I am not sure exactly how to measure. I look at pics of 12-12.5" apes and they look a touch taller. The pic of the purple one below is mine, what do you think they are? The second and third pic is what I think will feel and look better on my bike.

I'll see if I can help you out a little. Look at the bars where they come out of the risers, take a tape and measure from the top of the bar there to the top of the bend in the upper part of the bar. See if that will help ya a little. Also, what might help out a little, look at the site www.wild1inc.com. They sell wild one chubbies and they will have pics of bikes with apes on them and they will also have a chart that shows you how to measure your bars. They really have some cool pics. Hope this helps a little.
p.s. just by looking at the pics, I like the looks of the apes on the bottom but I also realize that looks and comfort are up to the person that has to use them. Good luck and enjoy that springer.
