do most who do this, do it flat/semi/satin...?
how many have done it in gloss ?
because you are spraying it on to thick...
back farther away, or move your hand faster...
Object isn't to get complete coverage on first coat.

I did the same thing to my factory stock rims on my F250 and I have off road with them several years and they still look just as good as the day I did them.
Prep work, self etching primer and very light coats and a ton of them is the trick!
Nice job! It looks great. Are you thinking about doing the whole fork?

now blacken the pipes with black header paint. but only the first half or the last half. will give a ghost look. do it on the computer first and see what looks best. i did that where the passenger pegs are so now the pipes look like short shots and the chrome tips
