Ive got a 95 softail custom with 7100 original miles on it. Its got a new mustang seat, new rubber front and rear, 16" internal wired apes with chrome switches and braided stainless cables and brake line. Also has new upper and lower chrome belt guards and new rear chrome pulley. Outer primary does have a little rash on it on the bottom side. Also has new billet chrome gas caps and new smooth (no bolt holes) chrome rear fender struts along with new chrome rear axle, spacers and hardware. You can see the bike under my profile but the pics are a little old and dont show the bike with the new fender struts and chrome pulley and belt guards. The bike is painted flat black with no graphics or pinstriping. Keep remembering more stuff-also Vance & Hines short shots and K&N air cleaner.
Im thinking about letting her go. I know evo prices arent too great right now. What could I expect to get out of this bike?

I'm guessing somewhere between $6-7,000. It's a 15 year old bike with a carbed Evo and a 5-speed. I'm sure it's a nice bike, but it's not what people are looking for.
$7500 There are NO nice big twin's for $6000, they're just not out there, and lots of "people" are looking for carbed evo's
There are a few Harley-savvy people who don't mind the older carbed bikes, but the typical used bike buyer is looking for something newer and fuel injected. Given time, the OP would probably be able to find a buyer for that bike at $7,500 or so. But the vast majority of used bike shoppers wouldn't look at it twice based on the year, the engine, and the transmission.
It's a shame, but it's the way the market is. Take a look on Ebay at what hasn't sold....It sucks, but it is what it is.
Edit- Here's a '99 that couldn't sell for 6 grand. It's not the only one there like this.
I put my carbed evo fatboy on eBay for a 3 day auction and it brought $7600 no problems at all. There are lots of buyers if you're realistic about your price.
