This is a question that i have had for a long time. Maybe someone on this forum can help me out. I am the owner of a new FLSTNI and loving it . It looks alot like my old65 Panhead, anyway ialways wanted to know what RPM the motor was running at 60, 65, 70mph while tne bike was in fifth gear. Many thanks , this fourm is a great idear.
Humm pretty hard to tell I think, depends on your set up. I have an 05 Screaming Eagle Fatboy. Each gear at 2000 rpm is 10 mph. 2000rpm@3 gear=30mph; @4gear=40mph; @5 gear=50mph. I don't know tranny ratios or belt ratios but that is what my bike runs in stock form.
