Glad you are ok, now I have something else to worry about, never thought of being backed over at the gas station.
Maybe you can get the ins. company to pay the extra for the tins since it would cost them more to lease you something for over a month. Maybe thats what you were saying, if so that's a sweet deal.
I would take the money and take my time modding it just they way I wanted it. I wouldn't go with stock harley tins painted up. I'd just get the basic tins and have a paint job of my choice on it. Want a springer? Good time to do it. Wheels? Yep; them too. Might as well throw those ape's on there you been thinking about. Get the good ones like BR, Flanders, or Wild1's.
If I had 8 grand to throw at my Train it would be amazing when I was finished.
Well that stinks but look on the bright side...you're gonna end up with a completely custom bike. Bet it's gonna look sweet. I'm in FL. What part of FL did this happen in? Since I have lived in FL, I have found that most of the drivers are *** wipes. No courtesy whatsoever and plain stupid! Not sure how we can have so many accidents on two lane roads doing 50MPH....but it happens every day.
Thats almost half the price of the scoot isnt it? How much of that 8300 is going towards labor? Dont know if insurance would allow you to do it yourself and get some serious custom parts wit the money saved.. either way glad ur not hurt...
I live on gulf side just north of Port Richey. Don't care for apes, like my drag bars better since I put 4" instead of 6". Looking forward to ordering parts today!!
