Default Need help with Deuce tin fitment

Looking at buying another set of tins (tank, front/back fenders) off an '07. Will they fit on my '02? I have fuel injection the '07 is from a carbed bike. I have heard the fuel line fittings on the back of the tanks are different. True?

the '07 fuel tank has a quick connect fitting on the left side close to the seat...also has the two metal tubes for the crossover line in the front part...
my guess is that the front/rear fenders would fit, but again it's a guess...

Mine has that as well. Just want to make sure everything is in the same place as mine. Did they even make a carburated '07 Deuce?

'06 was the last year hd had both versions (carbed or efi)...'07s are efi...need to find out if the diameter for the quick connect fitting is the same for both years

You'd think with the internet I could find out if there were some changes from year to year.

if both tanks are for fxstdi (efi) then i bet it will fit...the '07 has 96B motor, but that shouldn't make a diff regarding the fuel tank...
what's wrong with ur current tins?

Absolutely nothing. For being an '02 they are in pristine shape. I have always wanted Vivid Black. Found a vivid black set on ebay that was taken off a new bike after 50 miles. Don't really want to pay more to have mine painted when I could get the black set and sell mine and not be out much cash. Don't want to buy the set and not have it fit though either.
