Need more Chrome
Anyone know the difference between the the softail lifter block cover (part no: 18262-00) and the Dyna/FXR lifter block cover (part no: 18278-06)?
Like an idiot, I bought the wrong part at a dealer in Kansas and the dealer here in Texas won't exchange it for the correct part. I'm thinking about trying to make it work, but need to know what the differences are.

why not take the one you have to your local stealer and compare it to the one you need,that way YOU can eyeball it and come to a logical conclusion,,,, if you cant get rid of,or fix that part ,maybe we can do a swap/deal

Not sure of the difference but this could be the perfect excuse (if needed) to hope on your bike and go for a little ride back to the dealer in Kansas...might wanna bundle up though as you pass Oklahoma...
