I'm 5'7" with 30" inseam and ride a Deuce (similar controls I think.) No problems with reach. Took a while to get used to as I never rode forward controls before that.

It's nothing...very easy. I ride with my feet on passenger footpegs cause I drag the front ones really bad. It also offers another postion for my feet. I am short too so that helps.

Sat on what I believe was an FXSTC today. It had the pillow type of seat. I was not quite at my limit of reach for the forward controls. The NT I have been looking at does not have the pillow type seating and would cause a definite problem with reaching the controls. Sucks for me. I really wanted a NIght Train, but to buy something that might be uncomfortable to ride, especially when the trip to the dealer is 422 miles and then another 422 miles back...just makes my back hurt to think about it. I know someone mentioned a 32 inch inseam, well I am 29.5 in that area. I just don't think that I can buy something that isn't going to be a good fit unless I mod it.

You could get an aftermarket seat that would scoot you forward a couple inches. Might be just the ticket.
