Default Rim Opinion

My 2006 Deluxe currently has the HD "Flame skull" rims on it- i had them powdercoated black

Im debating about switching back to the stock spoke rims- completely powdercoated black
Attached is a picture of the front rim for reference

The skull wheels do not match the look of the bike...You have an older bike look going on with the fishtails, wrapped pipes. The spokes would look much better!! I think some whitewalls would look good too

You've got a nice looking bike, but I think spokes would work a lot better.

Your bike has a very aggressive and rugged look to it with the blacked out accessories, the wrapped pipes and the small handlebars. I think spokes would look out of place with what you have going.

Great lookin bike man. I dig your night train too! I think you could pull either look off, but I'm voting for the spokes as well. I think it would look awesome in black powdercoat.

thanks for that; its my version of a modern bobber- sort of a madmax bike- it has the old school fishtails but with the skull rims and blacked out

It makes a statement wherever i arrive. It has "brass knuckle" levers, brass knuckle passenger pegs, gladiator spikes on the front axle. Plus those Samson fishtails announce the arrival
