I have one of the Rogue choppers Scavenger's...I get nearly a quart of old oil out with it. I used to use a remodeled oil filter to do the same thing before I came across the Scavenger. It certainly is not a necessary thing to do, but neither is changing my synthetic oil at 4000 miles. In my own mind its the right thing to do...you do what you think is right for you.

the 20 degree drop in engine temp due to synthetic will make the engine last longer. I am up to 46000 miles and it runs great
