Does anyone know if someone makes or where I can find a black front damper/shock absorber for a Crossbones?

 

when you find it let us know. I've yet to see one

 

Couldn't you just get the OEM one powdercoated?

 

I thought that, but then realized that in order to powder coat, it has to go through a baking process and would probably do damage to the seals inside the shock. Painting was another option, but I'm afraid that because of the up and down movement, that same seal would just take the paint off and I'd end up with a chrome strip in the middle

 

Ive been looking for them too, Ive seen them on bikes on the Net. But no part numbers etc... I was thinking PC mine also
