I use a c&c sport tour and the lady doesn't complain anymore. The bonus is it doesn't take away from the sporty look of the train. Here's what it looks like with a haulen *** backrest.

If you're gonna ride 70% solo and 30% 2 up then the NT would be fine for you IMHO. No problem running 200 even 400 miles a day on the right seat. I'm sold on Mustang seats. I have a DayTripper on the Train and a Vintage on the EG. I'm selling a Vintage for the 06 and newer wide tire Softail's because I decided to keep the 'ole 99 EG and refurbish it so I'm not going to need the Vintage for the NT any longer.
Good luck in whatever you decide. I absolutely love my NT. Gets looks where ever I go and has the old school chopper look to it.
My neighbor has an 01 NT and his girlfriend is on that thing almost every time. He wishes he had gotten a Road Queen or EG but she says she is just fine on it.
I've got to say Chuck the right seat can really f*&k up the looks of a perfectly fine Motorcycle.LOL this was a Mustang pillow Good for the rider sucked for me.I have a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady for 2 up.Real good back support and firm.I don't ever ride more than a couple hundred miles a day with passenger so I couldn't comment on the long run..
Thanks for all the replies so far guys. This would not be a cross country machine. I'm guessing 70/30 solo/two up would be about right, BoomerBob. At most 60/40. I'm retired and work part-time. My wife has a few more years to go before she can retire. I'm figuring our rides will be limited to a weekend day ride for breakfast or lunch. I do a lot of riding by myself during the week...mainly short rides of 70-80 miles round trip. Sundowner and the Mustang both look like they could do the job. Need to check pricing on those. However, that CC touring seat looks pretty good too. I have a buddy that put a CC seat on his Wide Glide. Need to check with him to see how he is liking it. I like the thinner look to it but wonder how comfortable the passenger area is compared to the Mustang/Sundowner.
At any rate, I need to trace down a possible electrical issue (see my post about engine cutting out in general section) before I can think seriously on this particular NT. But, I sure do like the looks of them so if this one doesn't work out, may be looking for another one.
i got a saddelmen explorer gel set. the gel goes though the whole seat. i might want to sell it if u are interested. it is for an 06 and up 200mm tire softail. u can call me at 217-304-0716 or just post back on here thnks josh
