????? pertaining to my 1200 Custom

I have an '01 1200Custom and need to replace the 21" front spoke wheel. I have a buddy who has one from his '01 Softtail and he has made me a deal I cannot refuse. Will his wheel bolt right onto mine or will I have to modify??

The Softail wheel will not fit between your sportsters forks. You have the narrow front end. The Softail has a wide front end.

that may look cool to change the triple tree to a wider one and then it would fit. cost much money

a 21 will fit on the sporty front end but you have to be sure its the same axle size........or just replace the bearings to fit your axle.......as far as heritage or fatboy front wheel no it wont fit
