Is it a visual or functional reason you like them so well? They always appear to me as being uncomfortable on a long ride.
NOT AT ALL!!!!! I know this question was directed to Bama Jama, but I have to chime in! Apes are way more comfortable, especially if you're tall, or have long monkey arms. I had problems with numbness in my fingertips before I switched to apes.... since putting them on I can't remember my hands going numb, not even once. I can ride 'til my butt can't take anymore, and my arms and hands are still doing fine.
