About a year ago, Chaz advertised a pair of Ness mirrors. I thought they looked pretty cool, so I PM'd him about them. He wouldn't take any money, just asked if I had anything to trade. I swapped a pair of leather gloves for those mirrors, then used those mirrors as an excuse to black out the rest of my bike.
I never met him, but he seemed like a genuinely nice guy....The kind of guy I would have liked sharing a ride and a beer with.
No one has said anything about if he had a wife and kids.
I'm pretty sure he did. I know I saw pics before.
This is sad news, and a big loss for everyone. He was a great guy, and a standup guy. Great sense of humor, lots of energy, and was always willing to help out anyone. It's a big loss for this forum.
Man, I'm in shock. His genuine excitement always showed in his posts. I was waiting to see if he would ever sell his bike for a Deluxe to see what he would do with a Deluxe.
Like I said in the general forum, what a tragic loss.Chaz will be missed by all.I always looked foward to his posts. His wit and wisdom was awesome! Our prayers go out to his family.Godspeed Chaz!
