My friend is getting a 2007 Deuce… he wanted a 200 tire so the dealer said you can replace the rime with one that is one inch bigger (5.5 inch?) and then use a 180 low profile tire which will give the appearance of the 200 tire… what are your thoughts on that? Thanks!
there are a lot of ways he can go,......he can put the 180 that came on the s.e. deuce on there with just a couple of spacers. no new wheel or swingarm needed. if he wants a 200 like mine, he'll need a new wheel and then there are a few different ways to go......tell him to check out hogpro or dm customs.......the guys at hogpro are top notch in my book....thats where i got my setup...check this pic out.....its from the deuce tech site over at msn, there are some very smart deuce guys over there
Thats what I did, my buddy has a new Softail Custom with the 200 tire, setting side by side they look the same.
