Default 08 Crossbones

I just bought a 2008 Crossbones with a salvage title. I'm looking for the stock springer front end. Harley wants $2400.00 new. Any ideas on after market springer?

Thanks kaseman

Aftermarket is just not the same quality. If you want an OEM, good luck with that.

Paughco , their cheaper one is around 1300... U.S. made... if you want really cheap ( $350) DNA , but they're made overseas.... but I would go with paughco ... a lil more cash and you can go with mondo's springers .

Paughco is probably going to be the best cost efficient route. The make some really nice springer front ends too.

Are there any good sites out there to look for salvage bikes. I would really like to replace with the Harley stock front end. Problem I'm running into is that the bike is so new there's not a lot of used parts.

IF there is a OEM springer out there, it'll be expensive. The original springer front ends are hard to come by. Get a paughco, I don't believe you'll get a used HD crossbones one for a reasonable price.

No, mine is in better shape. All I need is the front forks, handle bars, mirrors and a little TLC and she's back on the road.

Possible stupid question, but will any previous FL springers fit? Like from a heritage springer or springer softail? They sure look the same to me. Powdercoat it if you gotta...

Me personally, I would go aftermarket for a quality (paughco or similar) setup, perhaps something that could provide a little more rake.

I was just trying to keep it as stock as I can and keep the look. I bought this bike for my son who is in the Marines stationed in Okinawa for another year. Wanted to let him make it his own when he gets home. Also want him to be able to ride it so than he can decide what he wants to do with it. So with all that said I need to fix the front end and all it needs is the forks.
