Default Rocker Lowering Kit...

Iv searched my *** off, and even gone to the dealership. What I need to know is...

Does the rocker utilize the same rear lowering kit as the rest of the softail family? if not. What brands are recommended?

Progressive Suspension sells the front lowering kits, but none for the rear.

Im a short guy, 5'8", so I need all the room I can get.

Here is a link to the kit I bought and used.

Works great, but replacing with shotgun shock, heartland kit, etc. I'll sell the shocks with the kit already installed pretty cheap.

do a search and yes the softail kit will work. You will find them in various prices ranging from 35.00 - to over 100.00

Same shocks as the rest of the shortails so any shortail bolt kit or drop in shock will work.. I'm running the Progressive 422's in mine and am very happy.. Dropped the rear a little over 2".. The big thing you need to address is the swing arm bump stop.. The stock rocker stop is a lot thicker than the stock softail stop.. When you slam the bike the swing arm will hit the stop and it will feel like riding a rigid.. Change the stop to the stock softail stop and you'll be fine..

If I remember right you can't cut down the stock stop without a lot of effort.. It's easier to just pay $20 for the regular stop..

Air is an option also. This would allow you to maintain some sort of quality of ride than lower it with the air for the ultimate look.
