On that topic: does a night train, custom or anything with a 21" stock front wheel come lower up front?
It rides fine it just changes the stance of the bike and the look for me. I got the progressive springs sitting on the work bench just need to tear the front end apart and put them in

Just finished blacking out front and rear rotors, pulley, all spacers, rear sticker and a 21" from a Night Train. Will be installing as soon as I get the wrinkle black rotor and pulley bolts.

Painted the rims with black Plasti-Dip to see if I like the look of them all black. If it grows on me I'll get them PC'd when I install the WW on the front. Will post pics when installed.

I just got my 21x3.5 front from American Classic Motors - turns out they had it built and shipped to me direct by DNA.

Got my VEE 120/70/21 from motorcyclesuperstore.com

Taking it to the Indy on Saturday for mount and balance.

I didn't need anything at all, it bolted up with the factory spacers. I changed the 1" bearings the front one came with and swapped it with a 3/4", instead of using those stupid reducers.

Lowering the front is unnecessary, although it would look nice.

Can't wait to order my 21 inch wheel from HogPro. I'm getting 21x3.5 80 spoke. I will have my money together in about a week.

The extra height from teh bigger front wheel (1.25" or so) is not a big deal. I rode mine like that for years before I finally lowered the front 1". I guess a lot of it has to do with you personally and what you are comfortable with. Not a big deal in my eyes but if you rock super long fishtails or something lowering the front a bit will keep them a little further from the ground.

The bigger wheel is really only noticeable at a very slow speed and you can feel that the steering feels a little bit slower. Once you are moving it is fine, even at slow speeds it is fine, just a little different. I much prefer the 21" to 16, 17 or 18" wheels. The lower profile on teh sidewall allows the bike to fall into corners much easier than with other sizes in my opinion.

I like an 18" on the rear for looks and such but the WWW options is pretty slim. After finally moving on from my softail to a Road Glide I have decided I will not ever do white w2alls again due to the added hassle of finding them, quality of the brands that make them, and the added hassle of cleaning them. I much prefer the look of white walls but the industry has made it tough to do them.

Regardless, nothing looks as good as a Deluxe with fat spokes and white walls. The nostalgic feel is incredible. If you guys have questions about wheels feel free to give me a call here at the shop. Wheels is what we do thus where the majority of our knowledge lies.

Yes you can. I am relatively certain that they are the same width but if they are not the spacers might need to be a bit longer or milled down a bit.

I wanted to do a 21" front wheel and my mechanic talked me out of it, saying it would handle much worse. I wish I didn't listen
