Default My first oil change

I have an 07 FXST, and its time to change oil for the first time sice I picked it up this summer. Suggestions? I know its going to be a Chevy-Ford deal. My dad suggested Redline, others suggest Amsoil, etc. Whats your take on it? Ive only spoke to a few people I know, and confused now.

You will be even more confused if you get enough replies. Everyone has there own idea. Like you said Chevy or Ford. Both oils are good.

The only difference is personal choice...everyone will swear by, and AT any given brand...dino or syn? Same thing...as long as you use the right viscosity in each hole (engine, primary, tranny) and change it regularly, you'll be fine...I know a bunch of wrenches, some H-D, some Indy, and all of them say they've never seen any bike damaged based solely on the BRAND of oil the owner used...
