Default V&H Big Radius installation

I will be taking possession of a new Rocker C soon and I intend to install a set of V&H 2 into 2 Big Radius pipes after break-in. I read an old post somewhere that said the Big Radius pipes don't fit properly on a Rocker and that a special bracket is needed. Yet I see hundreds of pictures of Rockers with these pipes. Is there a problem with the fit or not?

Also, I am fairly handy so I plan to do the installation myself. Is it difficult and if so, what advice can anyone give me? This will be the beginning of alot of mods to this bike. Thanks in advance for your help.

i put some V&H 2into 1s on my bike,im no mechanic but it was fairly sraight forward,i had to change the position of right rear footpeg with a supplied bracket, and i had difficulty with the exhaust flange bolts and ended up having to take to it with the angle grinder, carefuly ground down the front bolt without damaging the thread! my bike is a 2000,and near daily rider! so your bike being new wont have problems with the exhaust flange bolts, fairly straightforward job for you!stealers probably charge a cupple of hundy for that job!! good luck

I think forum member Alain makes a bracket, but that might be a bad memory

Got V&H 2 into 1 BR's on my Rocker C. Installation was EASY took me and a friend about 45 mins. I think it's straight forward...you remove stock, put new pipes on in place of stock. I also removed the rear pegs. Don't worry it'll be a breeze.

when the rocker was introduced noone made after market pipes that were specifically for the rocker. we were installing pipes for a soft tail which did fit with the oem bracket put placed the angle of the header a bit off. a guy name Gib made a bracket that Brought the pipes closer to the frame reducing the angle of the header.. since, then plenty of aftermarket pipes thhat are a direct fit. so u have no worries about them fitting.
