I just went from a VTX 1300C to a 07 Heritage Classic. I had the front and rear lowered, but I still need to go down one more inch. does anyone know of a drivers seat that will sit low and still be comfortable for long rides? I had a vintage Mustang seat on the VTX, and loved it, but I am notsure if this will sit me low enough on the Harley? any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
fordgal, any Deluxe seat will fit on a Heritage. It is a bolt-in swap in either direction. The deluxe seat will drop you down an inch or so, and the newer ones ('10-'11) will also push you forward towards the bars aboout the same distance, IIRC.
Now, I can only speak to what I know, and that is '06 to '09 models. See post nine on this thread. May be some variables out there, but I definitely know a '09 Heritage seat will bolt right up to a '07 Deluxe (and vice versa). Riding one now.
