Default 2002 Fatboy???
I found a 2002 Fatboy with FI that I'm thinking about buying.
Are there any known problems I should be aware of with that year?

Believe it to be a GREAT YEAR!!! It was the LAST YEAR they used the TIMKEN CRANK BEARING! Id'e say GO FOR IT!!!

Bought mine new in march of '02. I did a bunch of work on it, but not out of necessity. I did a 95 inch Dave Mackie Magasphere kit with .590 gear drive cams, and a 45 m.m. carb, plus a Screamin' Eagle Six Speed. I also have a Streetglide for trips but there's no way I'm selling this one, it's too fun to ride. It has had zero problems in 46,000 miles. The most dependable bike I have ever owned, even better than my '07 Streetglide, and I've been riding a lot of Harleys for 40+ years.

I've got an 02 FLSTFI in Pearl White. I run with my Road King and Softail Classic buds with no problem. It's been a great bike with no complaints.

47k on mine. The only thing I had to do was cam chain tensioners. I would recommend that year. How many miles on it?
