I just changed my stock Springer bars out for some FL bars so they came back farther and I needed new cables. I can't imagine you hangin' apes without needing them.

How high are you planning on going with the Apes? I saw a Standard the other night that had a total height of 18" and it looked pretty cool!

I was thinking of the Wideglide setup or 12.5" ape hangers. I'm checking into a complete set of bars, cables and everything right now.

I just put 12.5"s on my fatboy, I know the bikes are different but you will definately need cables if you go that high. I love the way they feel, plus people tend to look more too.
